My name is  María Julia Mancheno, I’m a latin american graphic designer and illustrator based in Quito, Ecuador. I specialize in project organization and execution within the fields of visual identity, editorial design and illustration. Some of the clients I have worked with include: UN Women, THE MUSEUM NETWORK OF QUITO (FMC) Make a Wish, (USA), Chiu Magazine, among others. 

I try to approach design as a social tool, AS i feel it helps articulate voices and foster connections whether it’s with clients, consumers, or the larger community; and while working on new projects, I always try  to incorporate a sense of fun or sensoriality to the work (as long as I can and fits the brief).
